You will need a Ford radio removal tool. These can be purchased at Wal-mart and your local auto store for about $5. The pack comes with 2 and you will both. These are U shaped and once these are inserted into the holes it will release "locks" to remove radio. There are other options to get it out but this is the best for someone new to this. God Luck

Take out tapeake out tape deck in dash deck in dash

The radio has 4 little holes in it, 1 in each corner or that area... Take a old hanger and cut it into 4, 5 inch pieces. Take these pieces of hanger and stick them into each of the 4 holes about 2 inches. This will disengauge the clips that hold the radio. Gently pry out the radio and there you go. Hope this is what your asking to do.

I am down to putting steering wheel and instruments in a 67 mustang after a 10 year long project. I have parts, I think, but can't figure out how the steering wheel, horn ring and all the misc parts go...

Are you installing the original steering wheel or a replacement? Screw holes shouldn't be off at all if all original parts are installed. Sounds like a replacement part may be for another model year. Double check all the steering/horn/turn signal switch plates to make sure they're the correct part numbers. Only 10 years, huh? I'm in year 3 and still haven't gotten to the floor pans! Maybe another 8 - 10 years and I'll have it on the road.

I took the rear wheels off to replace the brake pads on my 1995 Ford Mustang GT convertible and I cannot figure out how to get the pads on and it put back together. Help!

The brake caliper pistons have to be turned back in the caliper in order to install the new pads. I would recommend going to the parts store and maybe renting the tool to do it.

Cant find the factory amp in a 93 4runner

If its anything like my 1991 4runner SR5, there is a small factory amp inside of each rear speaker housings (None in the front 2). If there is 5 or 6 wire going into each one then they're probably in there. I found them to be garbage so I put in a after market deck that was good for 50 watts per corner (50X4). Figured out which wires from my dash to each corner speaker box were the signal wires, & just used them as my main speaker wires, by-passing the old amp completely. I snipped & heat shrank the other wires because some of the are still live & I didn't want them shorting against anything. I carved out the hole in the factory box so It would hold a decent aftermarket 6" speaker and ran it directly off the deck. It sound 10X better than the old factory set up

How to loosen the serpentine belt

If you look at the spring tensioner on the belt, there is a 3/8 square hole in the support arm.
Use a ratchet wrench, or breaker bar in the hole, and release the tension. Once it's loose, you can remove the belt.
