UNPLUG THE HORNS, THERES TWO AND SEE IF IT STILL DOES. THEIR HOT ALL THE TIME GROUND FROM THE SWITCH MAKES THE HORN HONK THE CIG LIGHTER IS ON THE SAME CIRCUIT SO CHECK IT TOO.

2004 Malibu Maxx keeps blowing horn fuse. Works when I replace fuse for about 6 times. Horn itself feels touchy as in only works when pressed certain way. Shift paddle on side of shifter also does not...

Try disconnecting the horn itself from the circiut, hold the horn button on for a while,if the fuse no longer blows,it's a safe bet the horn itself was the culprit,if it still burns the fuse, the wiring or clockspring are shorting out

When running air condition, if i blow the horn both stop working, until i replace the horn fuse

try unplugging the horns to see if they are the problem. If the fuse still blows, the problem is the wires from the relay to the horns. If the fuse doesn't blow, plug in one horn at a time to see which one is bad.

The horn does not blow and when I replace the fuse it may blow once or twice but the fuse blows again.

you may have a short in one of the horn them self . the easy to test is to unplug both horns then see if the fuse blows. if not plug in the horn one at a time . and see which one blows the fuse . replace the one that dose. if you have only one horn still do the test.

99 dodge durango. My horn keeps blowing the 20 amp fuse under hood. There is also a horn relay. Could that be the problem? The horn will work after I replace the 20 amp, but blows within a few times of...

could be you might check it out. many items take the same relay so you might try exchanging it with another one with the same numbers. If that isn't it you may have a short in the horn itself.

The fuse for the horn keeps blowing. Any reason

Most common problem is the ground that the horn connects to wit the bolt is rusted and causes it to pull to much amperage so clean the contact first then if it still blows the fuse then the horn relay or the horn may be going bad.over time the horn gets junk in it and causes the coil to overheat and causes it to burn out. Horns cost $15.00 for a new horn and are easy to change. I doubt the relay is bad but it is always possible.

04 CooperS: Horn does not work

Check the fuse first. should be in the drivers footwell. Make sure that it is not blown. 90% of the time fuse will just blow due to high resistance from one of the horns. There is a high and low horn often it requires to replace one and try the horn and see if it blows. Then replace the horn that blows the fuse.

1992 Pontiac Grand Prix Problem

The horn wire is grounding out inside the column. Probably got pinched or a little insulation stripped. You will have to trace the wire thru the column or just replace it.
