Question about 1999 Ford Explorer
Unfortunately, your code is inside the locked vehicle. If you can get a locksmith to open it for you, here is where to find the code:
Look in the trunk behind the plastic cover where your tire jack and wrench are. There will be two plastic knobs that you will have to turn to open and lift it off. The code will be on the fender wall. The code is real close the the plastic and difficult to see. If you dont see it there, then try looking around in that area for a 5 digit code, in the fender well or around the jack, or even around the rear washer bottle. Most times it's around the jack. Newer year models have moved the code behind the door trim panels.

Your Ford Dealer can help you with this ... and ... he is one of the few who can help you with this. You will need proof of ownership, and the VIN which is stamped on a piece of metal you can view through the windshield, driver side. If you are able to drive it to the dealer, all the better.
Why in the world you put yourself in this situation is a mystery. One key - only way to get around? Keys are made at nearly every hardware store and auto parts store I have ever been in and lots of other places in between.
If none of this works for you, your police department may agree to 'break and enter' your truck if you can prove ownership. If that fails ... there is always the local professional Locksmith.
Remember to invest in a spare key.
