04 pacifica hvac fan will not work on start up

Since you eliminated the relay and blower resistor as possible problems, the only thing left is an intermittent blower motor. Have had the problem before and when the motor was replaced, the problem was gone.

Is there a blower motor relay or fuse on a 1995 Mazda Protege lx?

That fuse sounds like it powers the ac compressor.
The blower motor usually takes a 30 amp fuse.
Does the blower motor work if you hook it to direct voltage ?

I need to locate my blower motor resistor on my 1999 S-10. do u know where it is located on my s-10?

The resistor is located under the hood on the passenger side. At the back of the engine compartment you need to locate the airbox it can be identified by a circular piece that's right beside the fender on the firewall (this is your blower motor) to the right if it (looking from the front of the truck) about 4 -6" you will see a wire plug. Unplug this connector and locate the four screws that attach it to the air box. Remove these screws and pull the resistor from the housing.

Hope helps (remember to rate this answer).

Blower motor for interior fan only blows on high speed. All the lower settings dont work now

The blower resistor pack needs to be replaced, it's common for the blower speed resistors to burn up and will need to be replaced. It's easier to replace with the glove box out of the way. gmparts direct has the harness and resistor as a package deal. Their part number is PK15218254.

GM Parts list:

Resistor - p/n 15218254 $8.59*

Connector - p/n 15306069 $30.70*

Wiring harness - p/n 89019124 $20 *

You don't need to remove the glove box, just lay on the floorboard and look up under the dash. There's a 4-wire harness plugged into the resistor assembly (white plastic), in the bottom of the black heater blower shroud. Unplug the harness, remove two small screws, and pull down to remove the resistor assembly.

Good luck and merry xmass.

My defroster blower starting working on high only, then only sometimes and now isn't blowing .any ideas?

You have a defective blower motor resistor pack. Replace it. I cannot tell you where is it located other than to say it normally will be located near the blower motor. May be behind the glove box, passenger kick panel, or behind the dash.
