You need a new mechanism ,on the cable mechanism is a either a support bracket or a round pin type that goes through the glass ,to be honest i have never seen caddy except on the TV but most vehicles i have repaired have a plastic support that takes the window with a clamp type device ,or a plastic douel that goes through the glass with a U shaped clip to hold it ,the answer is their if you look on the bottom of the glass but if its broke then its a complete window mechanism

1992 Isuzu bighorn Monterrey. right rear door. door panel removed. electrics and cable is operating, but window has no movement. how is the window cable attached to the bottom of the window.

I think there must be a steel arm operating the window glass. Cable would move that arm. Could be the cable end has detached or snapped from it. Have a look at the cable end while operating window control, and see what it does

Repair temp control for chev 92 s10 4.3

s10 not S10 blazer, they are diffr.

the temp control lever is bad (knob)
is it stuck? did you look to see if its cable. or vacuum or electric operated.
you can do everytime i do, im looking at
and what do i see, so can you. if you want,

click HVAC>
the heater box shows. a damper controls the temp damper door.
so one looks at that lever, and see if it works as you move the dash lever, if it dont move, its stuck or the acuator is bad.
on this car its vacuum or cable. acutated. (no motors)

so just look, does the damper have a vacuum servo?
if not its cable.
if the cable is bad its obvious right? one end moves and other dont?
mech 101?
or if vacuum ?
you apply hand vac tool to vac. servo (yes hose removed)
and does the damper move now? y/n
it not it jammed or the vacuum servo s bad. move damper by hand.
does it move, y/n, no , its jammed, solution is obvious i hope.
yes moves
do a leak down test on the vacuum servo (a classic test)
fails its bad, passes for 30seonds, its good. and most move.
that ends the damper side
if the servo works then the vacuum from the control head is bad.
bad hose. cracked hose or bad head. or no vacuum to the head.

my only does not show which lever is vacuum and cable
only that there are both.
but that dont matter any mech, he looks first.
ah ,just the cable fell off, end story.

Passenger side power window will not go up or down when weather is hot (+100 F) . Works fine once temp drops. All other windows work fine all the time.

Hello, You need to determine if this is a switch or motor problem. If you are using the Drivers' controls for the Passengers window, try using the Passengers window control on the Passengers door. If one switch works and the other does not, then replace the bad switch.

If neither works you have to check the wiring in the door at the connector to the motor for power. You need a test light or a Voltmeter and check the power going to the Window motor by using the connector plug. Then push your window switch and see if there is power. If you have power, then it only leaves the Window motor to be the problem. Jump the connector from the motor side and see if the Window motor operates.

If you are handy, the solder on the Window motor can be bad and you only need to resolder it. If you go to replace the Window motor, be aware that the right and left sides are different. The door panels have 1 or 2 hidden screws behind trim plugs on the door handle and the speaker grille.

The temperature difference can spread a crack in a piece of Solder and this is most likely why you have a problem. I hope my solution is helpful.

Power windows are not going up or down, one slides down on its own, one motor runs, but the window does not go up or down. the other motor dose not.

It sounds like both window regulators are bad. The window regulator in your car uses a cable and pulley setup. Often times the cable snaps or gets tangled in one of the pulleys causing the window to get stuck in the open or closed position. In the case of the cable snapping the window would be able to be moved up or down by hand. This can be confirmed by removing the door panel and moisture barrier and visually inspecting the regulator.

Srs warning light

Check under the drivers and passengers front seat for electrical cables. sometimes the connections can get disturbed by feet or items that have rolled under the seats (specially if you have kids)making a bad connection of the cables
As for the rear door window mechanism, you must remove the door trim pad and you will see the mechanism with its electrical motor etc, just undo the bolts and remove it.
Hope this helps
