All cars are the same when it comes to oil"use the best you can afford" or 5/40 full synthetic(when you get upto 100k then use semi 10/40)

I have an '06 endeavor and the wrench indicates it's time for an oil change. The computerized service log(for lack of a better phrase)is set for 3000 miles after each oil change which activates the wrench light. It is reset by myself or the mechanic after each service. I HOPE THAT HELPS!

My service engine light came on a few days ago i thought it was the tank cap that wasnt seal completly like it should be i try that and the check engine continue im afraid it could be something serious...

your vehicle may still be under warranty. Call your local dealer and provide your VIN#, warranty is 60months/60,000 mile powertrain warranty, 96months/80,000 mile emissions warranty. I strongly recommend contacting the dealer before your vehicle hits 60,000 miles.

no it should not burn oil...specially for a new car like that...the older the car gets...the more oil it burns...but you need to check the head cover gasket...

I have a 2006 Mitsubishi Endeavor with about 130K miles on the clock. How much use can I get out of the timing belt - I am a gentle driver?

No matter how gentle you are with your vehicle, the engine and all rotating parts still rotate and eventually wear out or get fatigued, it is recommended to replace the timing belt every 60,000 miles, I guarentee you it will be ALOT cheaper to replace the timing belt, than have it break and cause catastrophic damage to the engine internal parts, which odds are you would have to replace the engine because it wouldn't be worth investing the money to fix that engine after a timing belt break!
Good Luck !

Do you really need to change the timing belt at 60K miles on a Endeavor 2005. The service needed on at this miles I think its too much.. Sparkplug change. Transmition oil change Hydraulic stiring oil...

All are recommended as a precautionary measure. Timming belt is not cridical but should be inspected and if you are that far in the servicing why not just replace it. The fluids vescocity (?sp) breaks down with time, temp and use. Redplacement keeps your mechanisms working at optimal performance with less wear. Best to do all the recommended servicing. Who are we to second guess some expert engineer who designed and tested the vehicles systems.

2008 mitsibushi endeavor using 2 to 3 or more quarts of oil every 3000 miles and dealer says this is normal and I know it is not.

Your right, this is not normal oil useage for any engine. The oil is either being burned in the combustion chamber and exiting the tail pipe, or it is leaking some place.
