Question about 1999 Mitsubishi Galant
I replaced my battery, the battery cables, and did an oil change in my 1999 mitsubishi galant and my vehical still shut off driving down the road. what could be the problem?
You probably have a blown alternator fuse. Your car will run great with no indication (warning light on the dash) that it is not charging the battery. When the battery is dead you stop on the side of the road, The fuse is either in the box under the hood (probably a square 50 amp?). On my car it is part of the positive battery clamp. Look closely with a flash light. If this is the case , it is a dealer only part about $12 to $20.
