Question about 1987 Mitsubishi Passenger
Typically if it has electronic ignition it is the coil otherwise it is the condenser located under the distributor cap "it is small and silver in color about the size of your thumb". Hope this helps!

They hide those things everywhere. Grab a plug wire, follow it back to the distributor, the center wire on the distributor goes to the coil. If for some reason you don't have a distributor, when you follow the plug wire it will take you to the coil pack

not f-ing easy haha i hate doing these at work, some your lucky you can get to but generally you have to lift the intake manifold off to access, unfortunatly i dont have a manual but maybe try google-ing it, good luck :)
