Question about Hyundai Santa Fe

1 Answer

Recently, when I bring my 2007 Hyundai Sante Fe to the station to fill up, the pump keeps stopping over and over again. Here is what has been going on: 1) The car is currently being fixed for an emissions canister. 2) When the car is running (and shortly after it is turned off) I notice a sound...like a vibration or or air being sucked into it). 3) The car doesn't start up right away ( I believe the starter is working, and it may possibly be a battery issue). Once the car starts it seems to be okay. Any help is appreciated Thanks, Billy

Where is the auxiliary input in 2007 sante fe elite

If you don't see anything on the radio saying "auxiliary output" with a little earphone jack then you aren't Aux ready.

You might be able to go to a stereo shop and have them install an auxiliary output plug. They will pull the factory stereo out and splice/plug in an output wire that you can plug your iPod into.

Hi Mark, I've just had the same problem with my 2007 Sante Fe. After replacing water pump, radiator, thermostat, etc, turns out it was the cylinder head gasket. No water in oil, but engine pressurises the water system, blowing water out the overflow. Cheers

I have the same issue with my 2003 Sante Fe. After I fill up, (whether it's 1/2 a tank or 1/4), my car will stall unless I pump the gas for about 60 sec. My Sante Fe has around 104,000 miles- it also only gets 13 miles to the gallon. I also had an issue with the check engine light. I had 4 different garages check it and all 4 told me they didn't know why it was on (has beem on since 2005). I recently replaced the battery and it went off. Ever since I've had the problem filling up.
