Question about 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD
It is possible that the motor has failed or the nylon gears or the worm drive has worn out. You will need to open out the wiper motor assembly after confirming that the fuse is intact. next checck if the motor is workingg if not you will have to replace or repair by rewinding if it is only cost effective. Open the drive unit and you will find a spiral worm wheel that connects to the reciprocating action as a crank .You will notice if the gear is broken or damaged wherein you need to replace it if the part is available seperately than the whole assembly. or else you must try for the salvaged part. Hope you try this out. Good day
