Question about 2001 Ford Windstar
You can only answer that question once you retrieve the possible codes set when the MIL Light came on. You need a code reader or scanner put on the diagnostic connector under the dash, near your right knee.
Some auto parts store do that for free, but seldom know what the codes are. Don't let them sell you any parts, as codes don't indicate what is wrong or needs to be replaced.
Go to a good close by repair shop.not a dealer.
