It's possible that you got a bad bulb. You can remove the bulb and using a Ohm meter check that the bulb has resistance. If not replace the bulb again. If the bulb is fine you will need a 12V test light and remove the plug from the light, with the low beams on ground your test light and check each terminal on the harness the bulb plugs into. If you get 12V or a light then the wiring is fine and the bulb or bulb socket may need cleaned or replaced.

SOURCE: the low beams on my 2006 buick lacrosse wont work the bulbs and fuses have been replaced but they still wont work

Shannon, you did not state if you checked for voltage at the fuse location-or better yet at the bulb location-
If a connection at the relay that feeds power to the low beams has come loose, then the low beams will stay out. Suggest that you locate the headlight relay (in a box under the hood) and verify that it is operating. If an assistant can operate the headlights while you listen (and feel) for relay operation, then you can eliminate that as an issue. Next would be the output of the relay (contacts could be bad) - and if you cannot open the relay to verify good contacts, then purchase a replacement relay (possibly from a junkyard) and plug that in.

Remember, the relay supplies the power to the headlights.

My 97 dodge neon head lights wont turn on but every other light will fuses look ok Wat is my problem

  1. Turn the light switch off and on several times.
  2. Change from high beam to low beam several times.
  3. Use a multi-meter to check for power to the plug that the bulbs connect to. Sometimes there are components other than fuses than can malfunction and stop the flow of electricity.
  4. Change one of the bulbs for a new one. There is a possibility that both headlights are burned out.
Sometimes, the high/low beam switch gets "stuck" between the two settings and the headlights will not come on at all.

My low beams wont turn on. only my high beams

low beams are on with the high beams does NOT mean the bulbs are good. The low beams have two separate filaments, one that lights on low beam and one that lights on high beam. That's why the low beams have three terminals but the high beams have only two. It's entirely possible that both low beam filaments have burned out. If the bulbs really are good, then the dimmer switch is the most likely problem.

Low beam headlamps wont turn on change bulbs and checked fuses and still wont come on.

did you check for a relay in your fuse panel? there should be a relay that controls your low beams and one for your high beams. check for that and then if high beams are working swap it with low beam relay. if your problem switches to low beams working and high beams not working replace the bad relay.
