try switching #45 and #46 fuses, the two big ones ,they match each other in size and shape, for some reason this will make your head light s work again.

Tail lights not operating. All other lights work. bulbs good. no blown fuses. 2004 trailblazer LS

If the tail light fuse is good, I would check the headlight switch for power on that circuit.

Where is the relay for the headlights for a 2004 Chevy trail blazer?

Hi there:
I suggest check the fuse block, this is located under the hood in the engine compartment on the driver's side of the vehicle.

I have swapped relays, replaced bulbs, checked fuses, checked wires for continuity, and yet the problem of no low beam headlights on my wife's 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. It has the L6 engine RWD (not 4x4).

Hmmm. Are you getting power to the pigtails (where the bulb goes in)? Another problem is that the little connector the bulb goes into fries from heat and needs to be replaced. Are you having problems with overheating? The reason I ask, is the other relay runs the fan, and if they both don't work, then you have relay problems. Is your fan cycling on and off? Try this....plugging and unplugging the relay many times, which will clean any micro oxidation off the contacts in the fuse box. I did this about 7-10 times.... This actually worked for me unknowingly, while I drove from autoparts store to autoparts store trying to find a new relay. I was taking it out and showing the store which relay I needed, then putting it back in when none of them had it in stock. It's been over a year now and no problems with the old relay.

Head lights

You dont actually replace the headlight , just the bulb inside the headlight.. look inside the engine compartment at the back of the bulb , you just unplug the wire and either turn the bulb 1/4 turn to remove , or there will be a little spring clip.

HEAD LIGHTS

Had same problem. Trace common headlight wires back to drivers side. Will be joined together inside black plastic sheath. Open and look for broken wire and reconnect. May have to get under truck to find low point where water has entered sheath and corroded wire. If I remember right it was a blue wire. Good luck.
