The immobilizer is working then. You need to pair your key to the immobilizer or there will be no ignition. Probably only available at a main dealer.

Removing Ignition cylinder


Us a small metal curved pick and a small screw driver and with a little Patience you can get the broke key out . Good luck

You'll have to get the broken piece out

Then buy two or more keys at the dealer, and then,insert into ignition ,and program,assuming you have an owners manual to look that up

Go to a Nissan dealer, or a locksmith. Take your registration with you. They can make another key from the VIN #.

Ingnition tumbler broke cant start


If the key won't start it; it might not be the key ignition, but rather; the ignition that has a stem that goes from the key ignition down on the steering colunm. However, you can get key ignitions for them, or buy the whole steering colum then take the key ignition out of it. But, I would suggest more information is needed before I can conclude that it is just the key ignition. Hope this help~!

Key broke off in ignition


use a toothpick with a tiny drop of super glue on the end - touch the glue end to the end in the ignition, and let it dry for a few - make sure the key is in the off position, and try to pull it out using the toothpick.
