You need to clean correctly both calipers - in contact - parts, before assembly & tighten them. Using new bolts will be very useful. After tightening inspect calipers for leaks, brakes applied by another person, engine idling!

I have been going crazy unable to locate the second rubber grmmet on the bottom bolt connecting the two halves. Is there a second grommet? I didnt see it when separating..

Yes, there must be a second grommet on the bottom bolt between two halves. Check carefully & insistently!

My 2004 Lexus GX 470 has a stuck hood and the battery is dead. I can hear a clicking noise when I pull the hood release lever but still hood is stuck shut. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have someone pull the hood release for you, and you bang the hood several times with your fist...if this works lubricate your hood lock before you close it.

Replacing rear brake pads

There will be 2 bolts on the top of caliper. generally of M10.
Open both bolt and remove brake pads.

Please note that to push the piston back you will be needing special tool, so better take help from mechanic as compnies dont provide those tools with car.

Lexus gx 470 water leak on passengers side

If you are asking about coolant leaking onto the passenger side floor INNSIDE the car's passenger compartment and NOT under the hood you have a leak in either the heater core or one of it's hoses.

How do you adjust the clock in a 2004 Lexus GX 470?

to reset the time, push and hold in the "MODE" on the top of the dash for 2 seconds. "ILL" (which apparently stands for "Illumination") will appear in the display. Then push the "MODE" once. The time will blink -- to reset the hour push the "down" arrow; to reset the minutes, push the "up" arrow

If I have one bad caliper on the front do I need to replace the other caliper?

You don't need to replace the other one, but you could let the mechanic check and clean the caliper and might as well replace the seal.
Hope that helps you out!
