Question about Cars & Trucks
We understand that your problem is: My 95 jeep grand cherokee has a security problem. I came out to the car and tried to start it. It wouldn't even turn or anything no sound. So I get out and check batt(disconnect-reconnect). Alarm turned on(red dash light, blinking headlights and tail lights), so I tried unlocking the driver/passenger/and hatch locks (right to left, left to right) still didn't turn off alarm. Then I tried to start it again and it started for about 5 seconds and then turned off. Security won't let it turn on. So I tried to find security module and disconnect it. But that won't work until I can turn the car on. Please help me. My car is some place where it can be towed if I can't move it soon.
Have it towed to a car alarm specialist that is familar with Chrysler products. With a little luck they can fix it.. To reset alarm
(if it will work}, try locking drivers door and unlock it with the remote from outside.
The 5 second thing does not sound good.. Usually this locks your ECM out so it will never start. Thinks someone is trying to steal it.
