Question about 2005 Chrysler Pacifica

1 Answer

The A/C in my 2005 Chrysler Pacifica will not blow out of the front vents. The rear vents work fine. I can feel cold air seeping out of the vents, but air doesn't blow out.

There is a vent flap inside the venting. It directs the air flow. They are hard to get to as it is behind the dash console and you have to go up underneath to get to it. Either the vent flap is stuck in one position or there is a slight chance that the actuator motor that moves the vent flap is faulty

My AC and Heater blower isn't working in the front vents of my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica what is the problem

If the air blows out of all of your other vents then you have either had an actuator go bad which controls which ducts the air flows through, or the shaft that has the "flap" on it has popped loose and no longer moves which will only allow air to go to the vents that are not locked. The easiest way to find out would be to get under the dash and start at the fan and trace air flow til you find the problem.

You will need to remove the dash to get to the duct work just to clean it properly. You may have some damaged blend doors that will need to be replaced.
