Question about 2006 Honda Odyssey

1 Answer

We have a 2006 Honda Odyssey. All of a sudden the front passenger and both rear windows will not open. We have the safety button on the "unlock" position but when you press the button to unlock those three windows you hear a click but nothing happens. Tried all suggestions in manual to no avail--have no $ to bring it into dealer. Any help/suggestions would be so very much appreciated. Thank you.

This sounds to me like the switck that locks the windows is stuck. replace it. or of you have the know how take the switch apart and you should see the issue. but you may not be able to repair it. i have repair these kind of switchs before but you can fix them this way all the time

Bank one cylinder one is where on a 2006 honda odyssey

bank 1 is the three cylinders toward the rear of the vehicle. Cylinder 1 is the cylinder on that bank which is closest to the passenger side. There are only two oxygen sensors on the vehicle. Bank 1 sensor 1 is just after the merge of the rear bank exhaust pipe with the front bank pipe. Sensor 1 is visible if you look under the vehicle from the front. Bank 1 sensor 2 is the sensor "downstream" or after the catalytic converter. Actually, it is stuffed into the side of the catalytic converter. There are only two sensors because with a single tailpipe, only one cat' is involved.

2004 honda odyssey rear window passenger side won't open

First check fuse #7 and #16 in the passenger side dash fuse box, however I've seen this happen allot on this body-style of Odyssey's. Here's a quick check you can perform: Operate the rear vent window switch and listen for a 'click' in the rear of the van next to the vent window. This is the relay 'clicking'. If you hear the relay 'Click' you now know that your getting power in the circuit. This means that the vent motor is faulty. This is a common failure and they usually go out in pairs, so the other side maybe on its way out too. If you don't hear the 'click' than you'll have pin test the multiplex control circuit for a fault.
-hope this helps
