Question about 2007 Toyota RAV4
I just had the same problem with my 2007 rav4. I took it to the dealer that I purchased it from when new..Rouen Toyota in Maumee Ohio. They had never heard of such a thing. They will look at it but will have to charge me for looking at the problem. Bull Shoot!!! I went on line and found the drain tube...pulled the passenger carpet back...disconnected the drain hose and over 20oz of water can out of the drain hole....and filled an 8oz cup 3 times. I could not blow thru the drain hose so we ran a bamboo stick thru the hose and it was plugged by spider webs.
I put it back together and all is well now. You must remove your glove box to be able to get in their properly. Also you must keep a clean cabin air filter in place at all times. The dealer wanted $45.00 for a new one...O'Reiley's had them for $8.00.
Boy do your homework online or these dealers will play dumb everytime and stick it to you...Regards Steve Bowling Green Ohio
