Replacing a battery won't cause this unless you happen to hook it up wrong. In that case, check fuses, All of them. If they are all good, start replacing all those parts to include some computers.

2003 5.3L 4x4 GMC Sierra has started being hard

Sounds like a Solenoid might be bad on the starter if it spins freely and a high rate of speed without engaging.

Also, the relay could be bad.

I am ot sure if the fuel filter and pressure regulator would cause this problem.

No code will show with a bad starter or bad relay, I don't believe.

Good luck with this one.

My 2003 GMC 1500 we were at a redlight and went 2 go and it to a second or two then it went like nothing was wrong and it has been fine ever since this was about 600 miles ago was just wondering if there...

I'm guessing that the wiring connector to the throttle position switch may have (at that time) become loose. Start the truck and do a wiggle test on all the connectors, not the ignition wires of course. Let me know how this works out.

Nothing power works

This is probably due to a faulty alternator, or bad battery.

Attach the car battery to a second car, using jumper leads. If the accessories work fine in this situation, then you probably need to replace your alternator.
