Check your idle air control motor. It isn't starting because your not getting air going into the motor, when you press the accelerator it allows air to enter so the engine starts.

Make sure that all the hoses are connected properly. If the intake has any leaks between the throttle body and the air filter housing the computer will not see air entering the engine and you will have this problem.
i have the same truck with hemi and i notice alot of power after i put on a cold air intake and i did a cheap one, i know the hemis say they have alot of power but i still think diesel is always the way to go when pulling..
I had that problem last year. Dodge fixed it for $500.00 it was the "Transfer Case Motor". Rock Auto Online http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php has them for $140.00. 3 bolts, two plugs, 15mins. and your done. Wish I had known it would have saved me $360.00.
