Question about 1992 Chrysler Lebaron
92 lebaron convertable. When it rains, the top doesn't leak, but the carpeting on the passenger side is wet. I blew the hoses out from the bottom of the car. What else should be done?
If you out the top down, on the windshield side posts you will see a small drain tube on each side. When these cars age the sealant used around the drain tubes rends to get crushed and distorted and tends to cover these tubes not allowing the water to drain down the A posts. This causes the water to back up and run down the inside of the A post and under the dash and onto the floor. It's also possible that the window seals are in need of replacement or adjustment.
