Erratic gauges can be a result of sulfur in fuels. Do a search on sulfur and fuel sending units problems . Also GM has a fuel additive that they recommened every 3000 miles to clean the contacts on the unit. Usually when you get to this point the only fix is replacing the sending unit and since your there replace the fuel pump also.

Your float assembly over time degrades and doesnt make contact properly anymore, it is a common gm problem on all models

Fuel gauge could be bad .Depending on make , model and year vehicle ! The instrument cluster would need to be pull from the vehicle and sent out to be fixed or buy a new one .

Truck never reaches operating temperature

low operating temperatures is an indication of an air lock in the cooling system
gauges need the sender unit to be fully immersed in coolant to work but if they are not then the variable resistance material in the sender bulb cannot accurately relate to the coolant temperature
example if you have leak develop in a good system and you do not regularly scan your gauges like a good drive will do. it is possible that you will smell a dying engine yet when yo look at the gauge it will be reading cool to cold because the coolant has dropped to a point where the sender is no longer in contact with the coolant

Fuel waring light stay on. Tank is full. what is the problem

Fuel gauge working correctly?? Sometimes these low fuel lights are triggered by the fuel guage, which is triggered by a float that is in the tank.

Seems to me the indicator/sensor/relay, which is probably located in the fuel tank.... shorted out. I know this sounds strange, but rock the back of the car as if you were checking the shocks/struts, when the car has a 1/4 tank or lower.

Low fuel light indicator

try checking for other fuses, replace them with the same ampacity. With the radio, radio and light are on the same fuse i believe the lights for the radio are bad. If fuses are okay maybe the light bulb for the low fuel indicator has blown the light bulb can be replaced.

Fuel gauge not working

Normally I'd say the float/sending unit in the gas tank is the culprit, however the fact that your service engine light is involved requires further investigation, You need to hook up an obd2 reader to the interface mounted under your dashboard and see what it has to say, there might be a simple error code preventing your gauge from functioning. Many auto parts stores will do this for you for free...
