My Air conditioning Doesnt work. The heater part

Hello,
I own a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT v6. I had a problem with the Air conditioner not working when I turned it on. I didnt hear anything kick on when I hit the AC button. So I went to my dealership 50 miles away. They seemed to have fixed it. But only temporarily I guess. Its been not even a week and the Air conditioner stopped working again. They said that they charged the frion and everything necessary. They also informed me that there was a cable that wasnt plugged in that had to do with the AC. But now its just not working again. The heater part of it works fine. Just not the cooling. I wonder if the cable they plugged in may have become unplugged again or if it could be something else. I have no idea.

You should go back have them check it with the gauges to see if the refridgerant leaked or if it is electrical they should look for free if they just fixed it hope this helps and please dont forget to rate my answer

This sounds like a warranteeable problem, I think. Try to get your 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT v6 back to the dealership as soon as possible.

I would call them ahead of time and let them know that their repair did not work, but you think they can fix it.

The cable may have to do with a sensor for the low or high pressure, which if unplugged would keep the a/c from working properly, or it could have gone to the compressor, I'm not sure by your description.

I'll bet they can do it for free, or for a very little extra cost, assuming that no major systems have failed in the mean time.

Good luck with your a/c repair.

Car Heater Not Working - Blowing Cold Air

also check to see if tube that runs your climate door is not pinched or broken. the vaccum tube that runs the climate door is behind and under the battery. i had same problem a year ago and the tube was partially cut. i fixed it by cuttinga piece of aquarium tubing and spliced it back together. one other thing.....check to see if your radiator over flow cap is tight. your cap maybe bad and or cracked this would also cause the problem.

Air conditioner blower stopped blowing

It could be a fuse, or the blower motor resistor.

Heater does not work and car is overheating

Probably a clogged heater core. Orange coolant clots after a while. Should be replaced more often than recommended. If you have intermittent heat you might get lucky with a coolant system flush, otherwise you'll probably have to replace the heater core.
