Last week my battery went dead. I bought another battery and it worked briefly before the battery went dead again. I took the battery to Auto Zone and they said it was a good battery. I had them charge it and placed it back in the truck. Between 5 and 10 minutes after I started driving, the battery light started blinking again and then 5 minutes later it went dead. I dont know what the problem could be. The alternator is new so that cant be the problem. What do you think it could be?

Replace the alternator with another one that is Ford OEM or Ford OEM rebuilt. The alternators that you buy from the discount autoparts stores are not the best quality. I ended up replacing myalternator twice and learned the hard way that they don't use the best electrical componants on there rebuilds.Your battery keeps dying because it's not being recharged by a good working quality alternator

Last week my check engine light came on Auto zone said it was mass air flow sensor the next day my car would not stay running like it was running out of gas

So you replaced the sensor and now the light is back on, right? Have you checked the code again to make sure it's still the MAF sensor code? If so, you've got a connector or wiring harness issue.

96 infiniti g20 ABS light came on and car died

Have the fault codes read. Replace faulty items. Use only genuine items as non-genuine replacement are not always compatible with the OEM fitted CPU units If you needed a bigger battery then the autozone salesperson should have sold you the correct battery first time round.( try getting a refund on the first battery) Jump starting an efi vehicle incorrectly will do serious damage to the control module requiring a new ecu unit. Check what is staying on when you switch off including interior lights/ boot light

I have a 96 infiniti g20 and the battery keep going dead.. I had it checked and the alternator. Only the battery was bad. So i bought a new and thought things were fine then not long after (few days later)...

Auto Zone is great for general parts but NOT for diagnosis problems. Did anybody check the CHARGING SYSTEM & CHECK FOR ELECTRICAL SHORTS? They will just change general parts. Have it ckd out properly & you'll see what I'm referring to.

Check Charging System/told not the alternator

Check your battery connections - where the cables connect to the battery posts AND where the cables connect to the starter/main power feed and where the ground cable connects to the engine and/or frame. A poor or corroded connection can cause intermittent problems and poor charging performance.

1996 impala, dead battery replced with new,not driven for 1 week, went to start and battery is dead

It could be the alternator is not charging the battery. the people at Auto Zone can check for free if you can get it started and drive it there. some chevy alternators will work fine till they get hot, then they quit working.

I have a 2006 Scion TC that the right axle bearing went on last week and the shaft pulled out of the tranny. I replaced it with a remanufactured one from Napa last week and last night the same thing...

even when you buy from napa ,auto zone - checkers- all parts are manufactured from same place, I replaced the front wheel bearings in my 07 tc and with in a month they went bad had to replace them again, used a better bearing than what was the manufacture specs, so it could be bad workmanship or bad products, no every part is made to last .
