I have water leaking from front right of my car, it only happens when I turn the ac on! I'm guessing it is a leak but is that going to be a big cost fix?

Water is NORMAL byproduct of the AC process, and is okay. Less humidity is more comfortable than just COLD.

This condition is normal and required.

Why does my Buick Rendevous, 2005, leak water into both front floorboards?

Is it leaking water or Anti Freeze?
If it's Anti Freeze you can pull down the rug or floor mat to check, you should also smell the Anti Freeze. This means your heater core is leaking & has to be replaced, if it's not leaking bad you can try a sealer called Aluma seal (my spelling could be wrong),looks about the size of a roll of dimes, most auto stores have it.
If it's water, my guess is the AC condensation hose is blocked. Does it leak only when the AC is on? this hose runs outside, usually on the
passenger side behind the front wheel, when the AC is on & condensation builds up, you will see water coming out on the ground, this is normal, but if that hose is pinched or blocked the water could end up running onto your floor. Hope this helps.

Where is the ac unit on 2001 lasabre custom?

Where is the leak on the radiator? (front, side, top, bottom...)
My guess is that it might have also caused a leak in the condenser, or the lines going to the condenser. The lines are connected on the right side of the condenser, which is mounted right in front of the radiator.

What is leaking ... oil ... fluid ... water ... AC condensate? My guess would be, lacking information to the contrary ... AC condensate.

Wont hold water. big hose on the bottom of the radiator attaches 2 the engine and it leaks right out of the engine underneath that hose...

Well, if that Radiator hose is not leaking, then the Water pump seals have gone bad. More than likely you need a new water pump.

Vehicles w/ Timing Belt Driven Water Pumps Should Always Have The Water Pump Replaced When The Timing Belt Is Replaced.

If you do not, then the Timing Belt will fail, turning a low cost repair into thousands because of valve train damages. . .

For the Timing Belt & Water Pump KIT - its around $258 through NAPA

1992 ford explorer. Hit a deer. Messed up front end. Need to replace gasket behind timing chain cover to fix water leak. Already replaced water pump. still have the leak. Can timing chain cover be replaced...

sounds like the engin took a real wack????
i hope you eat that deer!! its cost you dear to fix it?
you could do the gasket in place but its a right old job,,,when mine started leaking i just tiped in a big bottle of rad weld or block weld (stop leak) what ever you call it,,, it stoped the leak dead in its tracks for years (3 or 4 years) till i sold the truck??
as for bad running yes it could be the crank sensor or that water leak getting every thing wet??

Leak in the front/middle of the undercarriage

If the leak is under the passenger side, about midway back (right under the firewal, to be exact), there is a line that does indeed drain water. This is the condensate drain for the air conditioner. As the AC operates, it removes humidity from the cabin area. This humidity condenses into water, and collects at the bottom of the heater/AC box, and then is drained out onto the street, via a rubber tube, thru the firewall. This is a normal condition, much like the AC unit in your home, it too has a condensate drain line. Nothing to worry about.
NOTE: If you run the AC with the "FRESH mode" active, as opposed to the "RECIRC" mode, you will get MORE water draining out under the car, as the AC is working against fresh air entering the cabin/more humidity... Hope this helps. Please feel free to comment back if you have further questions, and Thanks for choosing FixYa.

this water is condensation . it comes from the evaporitor on the dash of the car. and there is a tube from the ac system that is there just to remove the water build up. only leaks you need to be worried about would be oil or antifreeze
