There is a vent flap in the venting behind the dash console. The vent is likely stuck in one position causing air to flow in only that direction.

Open up the venting, then manually move the flap. Sometimes different temperatures warp the venting causing the vent flap to stick. Very rarely but it does happen is the motor or actuator that moves the vent flap fails to operate. It is a pain to get to, but you have to remove most of the dash venting by going under the dash and up inside the venting after the venting housing is removed to access the vents and flap

Ac only blows from floor vent, does not blow through dash vent

You may need to pull the battery cable to clear the memory codes.
Otherwise, the controller could have failed or something with a blend door. When the controller "sees" cool air it commands the blend door to change air vents.

One of the Actuators for the doors inside your dash that controls and diverts air might not be working correctly. You may have to either replace the Actuator or Replace the A/C Heater Control. Your vehicle does not come with a Cabin Air Filter.

Air is starting to blow up instead of dash vents, 94 lesabre

Check all your vaccume lines. Whenever I have been working on mine and I accidently nock a line loose I can tell by turning on my AC and the air will only flow either from the upper dash or below not through the normal dash vents. It is usually one of the lines between the engine and firewall on the driver's side.

I have a 1998 Oldsmobile 88 and the air will not flow through the vents, only on the top and the bottom. It only comes out of the defroster and the bottom vent on the floor.

THERE IS A VACUUM RESEVOIR UNDERHOOD THAT HAS 2 VACUUM LINES GOING TO IT. THE RESEVOIR IS NEAR THE FIREWALL AREA A LITTLE MORE TOWARD DRIVERS SIDE. CHECK HOSE CONDITION AND REPLACE AS NEEDED. SOMETIMES YOU WILL FIND THAT LINE SIMPLY CAME OFF OF RESEVOIR! GOOD LUCK!

You have lost engine vacuum to the AC vacuum motors, this is either a pinched vacuum line from the engine vacuum storage canister or the canister is damaged or the control switch in the dash is leaking vacuum.
