The usual problem is the coil but check your plug to.Just swap it with the cylinder next to it and if the misfire changes to that cylinder then you will know what the problem is.You can do this with the coil also.Hope this helps.Good luck.

I changed map sensor still says missfire on cylinder 6 could it be plug

In most cases it is not just a plug but is possible. I would look at the plug wire and possibly a fuel injector that may be bad, going bad or clogged. there are many other possible reasons but would start there. I hope this helps and good luck.

My air conditioner fan speeds have all stopped working except for 5. Any ideas what is causing this? The vehicle is a 2002 GMC Envoy.

Yes,it is the blower resister,it controls all the speeds to the blower motor,it is located near the blower motor, and it might have a wire harness that is burned up too, replace it,and the wire harness, and the blower motor, the blower motor is what causes the resister to fail,it draws too many amps, even though it might sound good, and run fine,it is requiring to many amps to run it.If this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

Cylender no 5 is working 70% mechanic told me that whole engine should be down to fix this cylender is that right ?

Usually, this sort of problem is a leaking valve in that cylinder. It should only be necessary to remove the one head, service the valves for that cylinder, and reinstall the head. If the piston/rings for that cylinder were damaged, then it would be necessary to pull the oil pan and take the connecting rod off of the crankshaft to allow the piston to come out of the top of the block. In no case should the entire engine have to be torn down to fix one cylinder. Hope this helps!

These cars are famous for leaky seals where the valve cover interfaces with the cylinder head, at the spark plug journals. They fill with oil, short the coils and cause a misfire. Driving it any significant distance can destroy your catalytic converters ad unburnt fuel ignites therein, creating inferno-like conditions and a fire hazard too. You'll get a "300 code", such as 301 if cylinder 1 is misfiring, 302 for # 2, etc. Pull the coil off the spark plug for that cylinder and if it is moist at all, that's your issue. Have new seals put in, or you'll just keep blowing coils at $50 a whack.

Ignition ccoil replacement 4 and 6

the last number in a po30 code is the cylender with the missfire. you say you have po306 and po302 which means #6 and#2 are missfiring. if you stand in front of car the passenger side has 1 through 4 cylenders starting with # 1 in front and # 4 in rear and driver side has 5 through 8 starting with # 5 in front and # 8 in rear. passenger side 1 2 3 4 - driver side 5 6 7 8. if you have indavidual coils on each plug then just unplug the coil and take the single 7mm screw out that holds it in place and the coil will come straight up off the plug

the missfire can be caused faulty leads and spark plugs replace spark plugs and leads reset codes by removing engine fuse for 10 sec road test and check codes if the lean on bank 2 comes back you may have a faulty injector or intake manifold leak try some injector cleaner in the fuel overdose it it wont hurt
