No the tube is not broken. This is where you add trans fluid.G.M.has eliminated the dip stick. You need a hoist to check the fluid level now. There is a hex bolt on the tail shaft end of the trans that has to be removed with the vehicle running and if fluid comes out when the bolt is removed then the level is good.If not then you add fluid.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Where is the location of the crankshaft position sensor on a 2006 kia rio?

The crankshaft sensor is located on the rear of the engine, you will need to look at the side of the exhaust manifold right under it, locate the trany dip stick and its accross from it on engine block, good day.

1997 Honda Accord 2.7 engine, backs up, will not go in Drive? Is transmission shot, or could it be a sensor or ? Also where can i get a shared or free online repair manual?

More than likely shot. Check your Tranny fluid and see if it is red or brownish in color. If its brown, you got problems. Tranny dip stick should be sitting right on top of the trans-axle (transmission). They are usually really short on Honda's so don't look for it on top like most other cars. When you open your hood and look at your motor, facing you will be that really hot exhaust manifold right beside that but down should be the stick.

Cant find the dip stick for the transmission fluid

It's a small red cap, that may be located on top of the tranny underneath the exhaust pipe, or close to where the tranny, meets the may need a flash light, so you can see the level, because there is no min-max will see the fluid...and the cap maybe dirty so it may not look red...goodluck

Need to find transmission fill cap so I can fill it with fluid

you either have to fill it through the transmission dip stick if it is equipped with one, or you need tho crawl under the car and look at the side of the transmission and you should see a plug looking bolt which you will have to remove and fill through there till it runs out that plug hole

How doi check fluid level in auto tranny on 2001 daewoo lanos

You do not check your fluid by removing the plug. That is the drain plug thats on the bottom. You pull the dip stick out that under the hood usually around toward the back or the motor. There will be marks on it that has cold mark and hot mark. Let the car warm up engage the emergeny brake, put in drive, check level on dip stick. should be at the top mark that says hot.
