If bought new then no but at least air filter must be changed for maximum performance 15k km-20k km, if the car is second hand then i would recommend a thorough check of ALL components

The indicator light is on and it's a B 12. Honda Pilot 2008. The book says air filter, etc Any ideas?

Time to maintenance... B12 just means an oil change and inspection (B), tire rotation (1), and replacing the air cleaner element/dust & pollen filter/inspect drive belt (2).

Hope helps (remember to rate this answer).
