Question about 2002 Toyota Camry
This is more likely a ground connection that is bad. Take the fixture out and see if there is a connector that hooks the fixture to a wiring harness. If not then you need to get a meter and see what the readings are for the wires that connect to the fixture you should be able to locate one wire that is common in the fixture and then it exits the fixture and hooks to ground somewhere. Your local library might have the access to ALLDATA to look up that wiring system. If not you can call the local dealer and ask questions. They are usually very helpful IF not you can check for a manual online or at a store.
