My 92 VW Cabriolet is having a problem with the clutch pedal. My original thought was the clutch went, yet the pedal is still not working after installing the new clutch kit. What is the problem here and...

it is kind of beyond belief that someone could replace the entire clutch and yet be unaware that the actuator, be it hydraulic or mechanical, is not working. That is like saying you replaced the head but did not notice there were no pistons in the engine. The shifter fork sticks out the side of the bell housing and connects to the actuator.

You need to take it back to the person who did the clutch and inquire as to how he managed to miss the totally obvious. Having to get the vehicle towed back to your home after getting a new clutch installed would be a clue that something was awry with the clutch install.

They rust, the clutch cable is a $10 part takes ten minutes to change. Attaches to clutch lever on tranny through the firewall and to the petal. the hardest part of the job is fitting under steering wheel! Only tool is a flashlight to see what you are doing!

What tools do i need to take a coolant outlet off the cylinder head of 92 vw cabriolet

If it uses an allen bolt you'll need an allen bit socket, not the wrench (key type) in metric. If it's a regular bolt you'll need a 10mm swivel socket preferably in 1/4" drive and an extension.

I have a 1992 VW Cabriolet about 3 000 rpm it

The vibration at that high rpm is most likely coming from the torque convertor and if a manual transmission , then clutch issues.

Clutch or transmission problems

Check out your gear linkage and gearbox mounting. If that is fine then It could be the clutch. Sorry for the bad news.
