Your AC evaporator could be freezing up, causing low air flow. If you live in a high humidity area, pulling in outside air is very hard on the AC system. When you start your truck first time of the day, pull in outside air enough to cool off the inside of the truck, then, place settings on MAX COOL and REC, this setting will recirculate the inside air in the truck that already has the moisture taken out of it. This makes your AC system work to the best it can. Now, if it's a noticable fan motor problem, you might have a blower resistor problem. Good luck, Gary

Replace the blower motor resister, this is the speeds for the blower motor,it is located very near the blower motor, and is mounted on the blower box,and it actually goes inside the box,to keep it cool. The reason for it`s failure is the blower motor, even though the blower motor sounds, and runs good,it is drawing too many amps.If this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

AC blows cold air, fans stop blowing

I think you have a "variable speed resistor" problem, it's overheating. It's an electronic device usually located near or attached to the AC motor blower that controls the fan speed. This is a common problem with aging AC blowers with electronic controls.

I have a 98 blazer that in the morning blows ice cold air. After driving for awhile it will stop blowing cold and if you turn it off wait and turn ot back on it sometimes blows cold again. ANy ideas

I would replace the low pressure AC compressor cycling switch, it may be sticking, it is a fairly common problem. The switch is located in the low side of the AC system hoses or accumulator.
