Most vehicles have a circuit board in the wiper motor that fails from time to time. You will need to check for power at the washer pump, If no power there, check the wiper motot circuit board, Good luck, Gary

Check followings 1. take a needle and try to clean the spray jets on the hood or where every they r, 2. under the hood u will find the rubber pipes which carry the washer fluid , which r normally connected by a plastic connector, pull open pipes from that connector and try to wash the windshield and see if the fluid is comming. 3. when u changed the motor (washer) did u connected the rubber pipe back?

I have a 2003 Grand Marquis. The wipers come on

It is part of the problem. The turn stalk in the column also has the wper control. The Autoturn OFF is in the motor. Usually this is a set of contacts or a small box plugged directly into the wiper motor. The small box works the delay feature but can also short and continue to run.

If your wiper has a removable cover you can spray WD40 on it and it may straighten out. If you see the small box, unplug it and see what effect it has. You may need to spray its contact terminals and the mating surfaces it plugs into.

Finally you can back off on the wiper mounting screws, spray WD40 and retighten. Sometimes the motors will lose their ground for the AutoOFF feature.

The turn stalk can also create your problem. Tighten its mounts after removing the plastic column cover.

Windsield wipers not workin properly--wipers vont come to stop position on the lower part of the windshield or they wont stop rigt away.

Try spraying the wiper-motor electrical plugs/switch with 'electrical contact cleaner'. This is available in autoparts stores in spray cans.
Next you could replace the wiper motor entirely.

I have a 1998 chrysler concord and i can get windsheild washer fluid to spray the resevoir is full no fluid is leaking out the wipers activate upon initiating the spray sequence but no fluid comes out

Pull out the small tube connected to the jet the fluid comes out of and check for any kind of debris, after blowing out the tube try and activate washer before you connect the hose again if no fluid comes out of the tube than that replace the small pump connected to the resivoir thay are about $15.00

My wipers just stoped working in my 2002 corvette. i checked the fuse and its fine. The washer fliud pumps and sprays but wipers dont move and make no noise...? Any help

Sounds like the wiper motor is shot. You can check for electric voltage at the motor using a meter to make sure it is getting power first.

Wipers stays up when off they don't lay down.

I fix it on two montana . i Sit an afternoon to realise olly drop of oil is needed!!
So look at this: Open the hoot and locate the disk on the top of the wiper motor . When it run it turn allways in the same direction. when it goes to park the motor go to revese and during these process a little arm under these disk jam the one under and reverse rotation to park the wiper arm .
So look carefully at the disk .You can see there two disk stick together. put oil to unsqeeze it . you can do it when engine is off....
Enjoy it:

Slow Windscreen Wipers

sound more like a motor problem. pop the bonnet and lube the linkage with a penetrating spray such as WD-40 and let it to soak in a while then run the wipers on slow and spray the linkage with it should make it work a little bit faster by beginning and after a while it should be working well.
