64 chevelle 327 starts periodically runs about 1-2 minutes & cuts off same thing while driving tuneup done new fuel filterstill does same

Is it equiped with hei distributor?Or points?The module could be the problem ,or the capacitor,if it is hei ignition.

I have esteem car model 1999 my car is smooth running sudden engine stop , enging not start again and after 3 minutes engine will be start so what is the problem plz tell me

which of the 2 engines, 1.6L or 1.8l, (radically different)?????
engine stalls.
top cause, no service, a tuneups skipped, ever do the 60k tuneup?
per the operators guide?
if it dont start, for 3 mins.
its either
1: flooded (use WOT cranking to unflood any engine)
2: lost spark,. do the std, spark tests.
3: plugs fouled (tuneup?)
4: lost fueling.. no fueling at all and TEST FUEL (spraycan) works for 3min run and dies, sure lost fuel.

which engine option??????????????????????
sensor 2 is not it. sensor 2 is only a CAT test.
Sensor 1 runs fueling at idle and light flat cruise.
the CUTS out, dont tell me anything.
is the engine stalling?
ever tune it up and not buy the most expensive parts in EFI. map, and IAC?

do you mean it hesitates and then catches up?
does the engine stall and die?
does the wide open throttle work up hills with full power?
cuts out.
if it is only short time hesitations and then wakes up
that is tuneup time, spark plugs, new, spark wires,
read the operators guide, for 60,000 mile tuneups. filters /spark parts.
if it is tuned up, and only hesitatates
try a new TPS.
if it is a deep long lasting full bog.
then the , fuel pressure is low, check that, the guage costs $20
make sure fuel pressure is at spec, first for BOGS.
the EFI system can not run right with low fuel pressure.

all 0xygen sensors are off line, accelerating so its not that
only the front sensors set fuel rates and never accelerating.
the ECU shuts them down then
and uses the map , air temp to calculate fuel rates.
but if fuel pressure is low, it gets all that wrong.
after all , it dont know its low, and can not adjust for that
and most injectors are useless below 28psi.

it either cranks robustly nor not
then and only the can it start, run
or maybe stalls
the dealer can fix it , if you demo it and it works.
its not broken then.
if it cranks correctly every time ,say so
that is a failed engine start.
if engine stalls, say so.
if rpm on the engine is real low, too low, say so.

the word turns over means nothing, Im sorry
1/2 say, it means cranking
other 1/2 means its running,
the order is
cranks, starts, runs , and keeps running or stalls.
btw if it stalls, its needs a tuneup'
get one in last decade, (sparks filters)
my guess growls is starter sounds
so if it starter works try cranking with throttle wide open
this is super secret unflood mod. it cuts fuel and clears flooding.
Good engines that fail to start are
bad spark plugs
starving for fuel.
we discount them 1 by one until. bingo

we can guess all day, even all week, your CALL !
1993 still running a "Kodak moment"?
that is called MISFIRE, there are over 50 cause of that.
are you going to guess up to 50 + times> ? id hope not.
and all misfire causes engine power loss, (all)

ZJ jeep
3 engines, 5.2L is yours.
ever put in new spark plugs??? in last 10 years?
you cant burn fuel with bad spark so this is like #1 for 100 years+
gas engines....
test 1, can you save the stall, with a fast right foot
if no, the you lost 12vdc to key EFI parts or its fuel problem
this be 2nd after new spark parts, (a tuneup is always first of owner does NOT do proper service)
why spend 4 hours shop labor only to find , omg,100,000 mile old
tuneup parts, (big cash to learn they dont last a life time)???

filters (both)
spark plugs.
if those old ratty spark wires are 24years old, they are hopeless
distributor cap, same thing
distributor rotor same.

if it still misfires, it can be injector problems. (lots of tests here)

even engine cylinder compression low, we always check 90s cars for this, after all its OLD.
generic, data; on 5.2. 9.1:1 CR sea-level spec only.
150psi x8. wide open throttle or more.
read data shows
1993-1998 Grand Cherokee. 5.2L v8 9.5:1 CR, 180 PSI
ask how to do that test correctly.

This 1993 the check engine lamp can glow, running?
if it is? , it must be scanned to find the codes, DTC errors
Innova 3160 tool can do that.
or most good shops. or even the Actron CP9145 (used onlY)
the latter tool is the Bee's knees on old cars. with EFI.

Check the Fuel Pump and Fuel Filter. Sounds like 1 Or Both are Bad.
