Question about 1999 Jeep Cherokee
Check battery for proper voltage, if your battery has less than 9.6v, your engine will not crank, but all the dash lights and radio will work. Use a voltmeter on DC VOLTS and check the battery voltage, if not between 12.5v and 12.8v, have someone jump start your truck. After it starts, check battery voltage, it should be 13.5v to 14.5v. If not, have the battery charged and load tested. If battery checks out ok, you may have an alternator problem, Good luck, Gary
