You can change the plugs, do an oil change and replace oil, air and fuel filters. You may also consider checking all your belts and hoses and replace them if needed.

Can a shade tree mechanic change spark plugs in a 2006 buick lacrosse 3.8

Of course you can, you may need a few tools such as a spark plug socket with a flex attached and a few extensions 3/8 drive but other then that it would be just like any other car. Take your time doing one at a time and wha-la you are done.
First grab the back of the boot and twist a little left and right to break the natural adhersion between the plug and wire then slide the heat shield back and pull off wire, change plug and reinstall with dilectic grease

Clunking in the right front wheel, bounces all over the place

sounds like a loose or broken strut. a strut is like the old shock absorber.the struts are supposed to be better but they do go bad or break.you need to have your mechanic look at it.struts vary in price and you really don't want a shade tree mechanic for this job.the wheel will have to come off and the strut will have to come off.this controls the way your vehicle rides and drives.hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com

94 olds Cutlass ciera my gas mileage is bad, acceleration is bad, and louder than normal.

Check exhaust for leaks get a good tune up if you have not had one in a while your distributor cap and rotor button new plug wires new plugs if you are crafty you could do this your self the shop calls that a major tune up and charge any were between 200 to 300 dollars. Most people buy the parts and i do them labor only for 75 dollars. And the parts are around 70 dollars so that is half price. If you want look on craigslist and try to find someone on there they don't have to be a rocket scientist any shade tree mechanic can handle it.

When pushing down the pedal, the gears and pto is grinding more and more as time goes by. I adjusted the clutch pedal , but no help. Can this problem be fixed by a shade tree mechanic or do I need to take...

I am not a diesel mechanic, a tractor mechanic, or a shade tree mechanic. But, it sounds to me like it is time for a new clutch pack. Anyone with reasonable knowledge of simple mechanics can do this job at a much cheaper price than a professional diesel or tractor mechanic, but it can be a heavy duty job. I would weigh the differences in downtime of my equipment and the ability of my shade tree mechanic.

Yeah, your magnetic AC fly wheel doesnot work, need to replace the switch. Take to an AC repair shop, not for tree shade mechanics to do. Good?

Where is the heater blower motor located on a

It is located under the dash of the front passenger side. Yes, it is accessible to a shade-tree mechanic.
Write down the code of your radio if it has anti-theft device.

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the plastic panel under the glove-comparment with a 4-point screw-driver.
3. The blower-motor assembly is black in color-all plastic construction, and its cylindrical in shape. Disconnect the electrical plugs that go to the side of the blower-motor.
4. Three-bolts held up the blower motor to its body. Remove them and take out the blower-motor.
5. Installation is reverse of removal.

2002 I amloosing oil from my main oil seal. I would like to know how complicated this is to replace.

"Complicated" is a relative term. If you're a certified and trained Chrysler mechanic, it's only moderately complicated. If you're a shade tree mechanic, it's very complicated.

2004 Chrysler Sebring- Left turn signal problems

Sounds like a short in the wiring or fuse panel. As new as it is, I would suggest a mechanic as troubleshooting wiring in newer cars is not only difficult, but also dangerous. Many a shade-tree mechanic has set off the airbags that way!
