By calling the ford dealer parts dept with the vin number of the car . They should be able to tell you the part number.
otherwise remove the actuator to see if there is a part number on it.

My 2002 pontiac montana blows air and heat out of the front.. The top rear wont blow anything and the rear floor will blow air but not heat..could it be mode door acuator??

yes! the flap that switches between your heater core and evap core is stuck in a crazy position causing that. it could be the unit in the dash or the actuator motor or an issue with the systems linkage.

Looking for location on climate control air door acuater

Well it helps if you could give a year make and model. Most are mounted on the either side of the transmission hump. On my 95 C1500 it is just above the gas peddal.

Check that the acuator is moving when you turn the selector lever( lay under dash with a flashlight and look for movement on either side of evap. case. (electrictronic model) If it's vacumm. remove the control head and check the selector diapram for a leak.Good luck.

My 2001 venture van rear air is blowing hot air

often on the vans with rear air the air dor acuator goed bad and can no longer switch from hot to cold. also the swich itself will often go bad. this can be caused by sticky fingers damaging the inside of the switch. sometimes a good cleaning in warm water will fix a sticky switch

My 1992 corvette does not blow hot air. I can control air flow.

Is the inlet and outlet heater hoses hot and if so you have a seperate acuator for your hot/cold door.Check for vacuum there if you have vacuum to the acuator then it must be a faulty acuator or jambed door.

2000 Ford Focus electric locks/acuator failure recurring problem

I would follow their recommendation as I had the same problem with my car. They unhooked the power to that door and it was fine. The problem was a short in the wiring in the door that was causing the problem. So maybe get them to check the wiring in the door as well.
