2002 audi a4 doesnt move while its in drive

My 2002 audi a4 doesnt seem to move when i put it into drive, it just revs up and the rpm's shot up. but before all of this the car was moving but jerking and stalling while i drove amd when id stop, it would have a hard time going. this all happend after a oil change as well. and i just looked up the history on my car and the previous owner had to put a transmission output seal because there was a leak. would that be the reason why this is happening?

What oil got changed? Engine oil? Trans. fluid? How long have you had the car since the output shaft seal was changed? What codes do you have coming from the TCM?
Improper fluid levels or incorrect fluid type will cause severe problems with these units.

2002 audi a4 1.8t heat problem.

most likely a air bubble in your system. get it up to temp open up your reservoir use something that will fit in the opening and put coolant into it rev engine up a bit until you see bubbles coming up. when you did the engine did you replace cooling system parts like t-stat or water pump? purging the system of air will take a little while good luck hope that helps

2002 Audi A4 Esp Light comes on, car turns off when I have to sto

I had the same issue with my '05 A4 1.8T.  Turns out it was the RPM sensor.  Audi tried to tell me it was teh fuel pump and the cam-shaft positioning sensor.  Paid for teh fuel pump replacement and it died 6 blocks from the dealership.  Then they replaced the RPM snesor, works great now... Except it's still an Audi.
