Question about 2000 Dodge Neon
Actually mr imn2trux you are an idiot and totally stupid the iac and tps are both located on the air box in a dodge neon 2001 and up
they did this so they catch air coming strait from the air filter so what the f*** are you talking about carbon? lmao i know this because i desighned it.

First, does this funny idle happen when the AC is on? If so, try running the engine with the AC off and see if the problen is still there. If the problem is still there, you might need an upper cylinder decarb, if it's a high mileage car. When you replaced the IAC motor, did you notice carbon build up in the air passages? You really need this car hooked up to a monitor to see what's going on with all the sensors, you could throw hundreds of dollars at this car with a hit or miss, a good Mechanic with a monitor will pinpoint the problem for a small fee and you can replace the right part yourself, then happy driving, good luck, Gary
