Where is the cooling temperature sensor located?

If you meant coolant temp sensor there should be two. One with one wire feeds dash display--one with two wires feeds ECU. Both should be located near the thermostat housing. If you meant temp sensor for cooling (Air Conditioning) I have no idea.

Qx4 2001 radio says err2 how do i fix it?

This is a common problem with the CD unit of that type of car. There is a quick fix you might wanna try, but when that doesn't work, you probably need to take it to a dealer.

The quick fix is: disconnect the car's battery (by removing the negative (-) pole) for at least 10 minutes and reconnect it afterwards. Since this 'resets' the unit, the errorcode should be gone and with a little luck you can pull out any CDs still left in the unit. You might need to reprogram the time on your clock, etc ...

How many catalitic converters are on the 2001 infiniti QX4

There are only to Catalysts monitored by the ECM. There is a wide pipe near the front of the exhaust system that looks like it houses a catalyst, but it doesn't. Look for the rear O2 sensor, that is where the catalyst is. If the bolts that hold it on are not badly rusted, and depending on your mechanical aptitude you could replace them, otherwise take it to a shop. Have you checked the warranty coverage with the dealership?
