Question about 2005 Ford Expedition
The check engine light is on everything is ok on the system check list but light is still on the oil was changed two weeksago and the high milage oil was put in
In most later vehicles, that light may stay on for a fixed number (it can be 5-50, we have both) of startups of the engine or many have to be manually reset.
The engine can't tell the computer that it has fresh oil but will turn the light on after some finite mileage since the last reset for periodic maintenance items such as your oil change, but some items can't reasonably reset the computer; it has to be told that the oil was changed.
Check your manual to find how to reset that warning light and if you no longer have the manual for your vehicle, you can download a copy of it from the Ford website.
