Your money may soon be leaking out of your pockets as well... If you can pinpoint where exactly the leaks are then you are in luck and can probably fix them easily enough. Oil leaks can be from just about anywhere. A good way to find them is to take your truck to the carwash and give the engine a good cleaning, especially then bottom. Then go for a short drive to warm it up and dry it off, and then crawl underneath and it will be much easier to spot the leak. Common power steering leaks are right on the hoses themselves, especially near the compression fittings. That would be my first place to check. If your transmission is leaking then that could be a number of things as well. Do the same trick as with the engine and try to spot exactly where the leak is. It may be as simple as putting in a new pan gasket or even just tightening up a couple bolts on the pan. If it is something more serious like oil coming out of the torque converter (which would match up with your lack of acceleration) then I would recommend taking it into a mechanics shop and have them look it over.

I have a 93 explorer and the tranny or oil is leaking really bad I think it's the tranny because it only leaks when in gear and its a bad leak it makes a line when I back up and take off or just sit s

Those A5 trannies are junk and can set the vehicle on fire in less than 5 minutes with low fluid. Red fluid is tranny, oil is oil. Rear seal-oil- big repair. Tranny coolant pipes-Tranny fluid-small repair. Replace filter, fluid, and gasket-it's probably over due-and check again for leaks. rear tranny seal leak, average size job.. Never use the stop leak! Throwing flour on the tranny works better-Just kidding.

My 2000 Ford Expedition has a major oil leak from somewhere around the Starter or Oil Filter housing, Looks like it's towards the front of the Motor, What could be leaking and how do I fix it?

Could be a number of things. Oil pan gasket, check around oil pan to see if its wet. Front crank seal could be leaking and blowing back if its bad enough. Check around and in behind your crankshaft pulley. I would also check your tranny cooler lines and power steering lines, if they are leaking bad enough the oil will get blown back when you drive. Also check to see how high up the engine the oil starts coming from that will give you some indication of where it starts.

Oil leak

You have to differentiate whether the oil leak is from the engine or the tranny. After determining where the source, you must isolate the specific area; timing belt area, the middle-between the engine and the tranny. This can be cheaply determine by placing white piece of paper underneath the engine and observe the droppings of oil. Oil leak repair can be costly-especially an oil starved engine, so isolating the source is essential and tear-down might required.
Due to the age of the vehicle, possible sources are the camshaft seal, crankshalf seal, oil pan gasket, crankshaft end seal, distributor o-ring, and valve cover gasket.
In addition, other oil leaks can come the transmission, and power steering pump and rack'n'pinion. Best to raise the vehicle and inspect undercarriage of vehicle.

1991 lexus ls400 power steeing slowly got hard to

As mentioned check ps fluid. If it wines when turning and still no power then the pump is internally bad.. If the fluid is dissapearing fast then its a hose or most likely a leaking rack& pinion assembly..

2002 T-fird fluids leaking

Not really sure what your asking. But if your leaking from the power steering unit but it looks like tranny fluid it's because it is tranny fluid. Power steer fluid and tranny fluid are the same except that tranny fluid has a red dye in it.
