Question about 2002 Ford Taurus
Sounds like the AC compress is seized. or there's a short in the Ac clutch circuit. You can visually inspect the compressor and determine if it is seized or not. look at the electrical connection and see if it is shorted to ground or not. If you are unable to determine the cause then the best advice I can give you is to take it to a reputable repair shop. AC repair can get very expensive. So beware.
