Question about 1998 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup
The clutch on this truck does not engage until pedal is at the very top. Clutch assembly is 4 months old. Can this be adjusted
A clutch needs freeplay.
But it only needs a half inch or so.
So if there is that much freeplay, leave it.
You want as much clutch travel under pressure as you can get.
If there is not at least a half inch freeplay, then you either lengthen the cable by shortening the sheath adjustment, or shorten the clutch master cylinder rod.
