any time its a no crank,
check ALL FUSES.
1: if A/t wiggle gear shift (P then try Neutral) N might work.
2: if M/T , wiggle clutch , near floor pressed.

if CEL lamp is dead, key on, the fuses are blown.
the CEL must glow key on, or Fuses blown.

When I push in the clutch there is no response when I turn the key it's just nothing,I think it's the switch on the clutch petal, where is it and how do you replace it?

According to Oreilly Auto Parts online, the switch is in the side of the transaxle. It has a wiring harness attached.
You can look the part up online to see what it looks like.

2000 jetta. drove home and all was fine. 2 hours later, I try to start the car and nothing happens but all lights, dingers work fine. Battery is 2 months old. Any suggestions, please? I'm missing...

put the car in neutral and push down the clutch. turn key to start and hold there. While holding slowly let clutch up and see if it catches, if so you have a worn safety switch which happens on those. Good luck!

Have 1990 ford mustang convertible 4 cyl turn key and nothing happens no click nothing light, wipers power windows radio all turn on and work pulled starter and cellunoid and they are fine battery is...

Check for fusible links close to the battery, they may be just wires or they may look like giant fuses. Use an electrical tester to see if current is passing through them. Also you can try using a screwdriver to connect the main bttery power at the starter to the cellunoid to check that it will start. Just make sure it is in park or neutral and the emergency brake is on.
