I have a 2005 Dodge Caravan SXT with Stow N' Go seating. The 6 disk DVD does not seem to work. Is there anything I can do to try and fix it?

I'd replace the unit unless you're an electronics repairman.

This engine uses a timing chain not a belt. They will typically not require the same interval between changes but you should still have it checked to make sure it has not stretched.

the coil might check "good " when cold but it appears that it has a hot open problem . change coil to another cyl and see what happens

Firing order for a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8L (Diagram)

the correct firing order for the van is 1-2-3-4-5-6. the front bank ( radiator side) fireing order will be 2-4-6 and the rear bank will be 1-3-5. hope this will help!!

It sounds like you might have a bad switch or it might be just a fuses, you might want to check both out.

If it a 2.4L I-4 Eng it has a timing belt @ 100-125K Change. On 3.3 , 3.8L V-6 it has timing chain @ 175-200K change

Car back fires during acceleration and cuts off but all ways turns right back over

plug wires for sure are bad with it backfiring

Is the check engine light blinking? if so have it tested for codes, Kragen auto and others do this test for free, just ask for a OBD2 fault code test. let me know the results and we can work from there.
