Water in floor board and I think the drain back hose is stopped up. Thought the windshield was leaking but the insulation was wet right under were the heater hoses go threw the firewall. I poured water on...

While what you are describing certainly could happen, it seems unlikely you'd have water coming from a blocked a/c condensate drain at this time of the year. The a/c will produce condensation when cooling the flowing air to give a comfortable summer time ride. This condensation is drained to the outside (underneath) of the car by the hose you are describing. Unless you live in a particularly hot climate, I don't think this is your problem given the time of the year

I'm thinking it's a better likelihood you've got a leaking heater core. If your turn the defroster on, do you get a whiff of something that smells sweet? (Kinda like pancake syrup). A leaking heater core can funnel this kind of odor up thru the defroster ducts and into your face.

Battery light won't go off in our 1990 Bonneville even though we just replaced the battery.

Have you checked your alternator? It should be putting out 13.8 volts to 14.3 volts with car running and headlights, wiper blades, heat or airconditiong on hi. You can test this with voltmeter at batery posts. If not within those readings you may have a bad alternator fuse or bad alternator.

I have a 95 limited ford explorer where the blower

You probably have an automatic unit and the problem could be in the control head. The best way to find out is to unplug the unit. It has to send the ground path for the fan to run. These have been known to give problems.

My heater works but air conditioning won't

The Air-conditioning needs to be re-gassed. Take the car to an Auto Mechanic to get the Air-Conditioning re-gassed. They might also need to check it for leaks to make sure the gas stays in.

Air Conditioning

There are two radiator like units in your system. First one is the condenser and is located at front of your car, just in front of the cooling radiator, and behind the grill. The other is locted inside a plastic case on the firewal behind the engine and under the windshield, and is called the evaporator. The job you are trying to do should be done by a technician with proper equpment. An electronic leak detecter, and a charging station w/vacuum pump are the basics. This can be an expensive repair no mater which one is the culprit.

I need to change the radiator thermostat in a 1994 chrysler lhs, does it have anything to do with airconditiong and the car ran hot? Aaron Foots

It doesnt really have anything to do with A/c.The thermostat is located under the housing that the top radiator hose connects to on the motor.pretty simple job.The car may run hotter with the A/C on because it has to work a little harder to run A/C pump. But when A/C is on so should the A/C fan which should help cool it a little
