Ford Dealer is recalling ALL 2003 Grand Marquis for failing "Lightening Control Modules". Got a letter today 4/28/2014 from FORD. As long as your car isn't 15 years old or has reached 250,000 the repair is FREE!!!

My radiator fan stays on its not the relay, could it be the sensor? where is it located if it is the sensor? thanks laurie

Could very well be the sensor (thermostat). No idea where yours is located, but parts store location chart may help, or you could buy a shop manual.

1998 mercury grand marquis headlights

There's a l.c.m located by the gas pedal, just above it over the plastic cover.when this happens, slightly tap the module. If light come on then you need a new l.c.m (lighting control module)...very common concern eith this vehicle, unfortunately not cheap

2003 grand marquis gs blower switch is a 4 speed. the first two LOW, and next position are not working. Is the switch module or the fan motor in the engine compartment?

There are resisters that controle the fan speed located in the plenum (its the air movement that cools them). They can be checked and changed out simply by opening the hood and locating the AC evaporatot housing on the firewall (passengers side).

there is not a relay per se, but there is a control module. trace the wires from the fan motor to the control module.
