Most likely one of the door sensors are bad or it's dirty.

How to diagnose which door is causing the door ajar warning on dic for 08 pontiac g6 4cyl 4dr

It should tell you which one .
Driver Door Ajar Malfunction
Passenger Door Ajar Malfunction
If not a scan tool would be the best way.
Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Driver Door Ajar Sw parameter while opening and closing the driver door. The parameter should change between Door Closed and Door Ajar
? If the parameter does not change, refer to Driver Door Ajar Malfunction.
With the passenger doors closed, observe the scan tool Door Ajar Switch parameter while opening and closing each door. The parameter should change between Door Closed and Door Ajar.
? If the parameter does not change, refer to Passenger Door Ajar Malfunction

Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the driver door latch.
Test for less than 5 ohms between the ground circuit terminal 8 and ground.
? If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
Ignition ON, verify the scan tool Driver Door Ajar Sw parameter is Door Closed.
? If not the specified value, test the signal circuit terminal 6 for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the BCM.
Install a 3A fused jumper wire between the signal circuit terminal 6 and the ground circuit terminal 8. Verify the scan tool Driver Door Ajar Sw parameter is Door Ajar.
? If not the specified value, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the BCM.
If all circuits test normal, test or replace the driver door latch

All doors are closed, including rear lift gate, but "door ajar" warning is displayed on info center. interior lights stay on when driving and when parked and key removed.

It could be a bad door ajar switch on the tailgate. You would have to put a scanner on it to see which door the computer tells you is grounded.

Door ajar light now is on and interior lights won't go out all doors and rear window close tightly what else can I check or do?

those are a little more complicated then the old days. The switches are now part of the door latch inside the door. Does your truck tell you which door is ajar? If so you will need to replace the latch on the inside of the door or bypass it.

Door Ajar light

youve got a bad door ajar switch in one of the doors- next time it's on try slamming each door one by one til it goes out, when it goes out- that is the door that has the bad switch in it. spraying penetrating oil (NOT WD-40!) on the door latch may help-hope this helps and good luck

Door ajar stays on usually when it rains

Try opening and closing all four doors one at a time to determine which door ajar sensor has failed. Probably driver door. Sensor is located in door latch assembly and is a challenge for first timers. This is a common problem with these vehicles.

the wire on the door latch make sure they are plugged in or unplug it and the light should go out if it does not then it's not that door

Door ajar light remains on

One of your door switches sounds faulty, usually drivers door goes first. There's a little push-in button sticking out on your door post or a small lever type plastic thing where your door meets vehicle, that is your switch. You can try spraying it with contact cleaner or WD-40 & working it in & out by pushing it with your thumb, it may fix it tempoarily, but if not, it will have to be replaced. If your mechanically inclined I can tell you how to test it.
